Hawzah News Agency- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, has sent a message of condolence on the passing of the esteemed scholar, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Abbas Mahfouzi. The text of the Leader's message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

I offer my condolences to the honorable family and all the friends, admirers, and students of the great scholar Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Abbas Mahfouzi (RA) upon his passing. This distinguished scholar was a longtime student and companion of the late Imam Khomeini (may God be pleased with him). He remained steadfastly loyal to that noble figure throughout his blessed lifetime. I pray for God's mercy for him and for the elevation of his rank.
